During the course of our day yesterday, we did hear from several people that they had been flooded with emails on this issue, which was wonderful, but that they had made the choice to block them since they "got the message". I think this is a rather unfortunate way to conduct business since we all know how easy it is to simply create an email rule to dump email into a specific folder for later perusal.

At this point however it's not just the folks above that are important...all the legislators are working on various aspects of the budget bill and EVERYONE is making deals and trades. Trish, I have a list of all the Assemblymembers and Senator's emails, phone numbers and available twitters at http://gtomanagement.com/nexus-added-to-ca-budget-bill. Please feel free to grab it and distribute...it's all publicly available information.

Apparently most of the names on the list are not receiving email. I sent email to all on this list today and only the email to Steinberg and Alquist were sent successfully. All others bounced. I checked the email addresses and they are correct. The error I received was "address rejected". So much for open government.
