My Potential BlogWorld Expo Adventure

I’m not a famous blogger, though sometimes I often hang out with the likes of Drew Bennett, Heather Smith, Julie Vazquez, and Missy Ward and pretend I’m of their caliber. I have had a great time seeing these folks at Affiliate Summits, and picking their brains about how they make blogging work for them.  Most of the time when I go to a conference, I come out with almost a hundred flyers or brochures and toss all but 10 before leaving the hotel.

When I went to BlogWorld Expo in 2008, I brought them all home with me.  It was one of the most educational conferences I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending.  Every resource was great to help me with my blog.  I learned so much!  That was when I only blogged here, about my career, online marketing, and social media.  I’ve since ventured into other niches with other blogs (FoodAskew.net & GirlScoutGuide.com), as well my husband has ventured into blogging as well (RailroadRedux.com).  There’s definitely more I need to learn so I can build this blog up right!

IZEA is potentially my savior!  They’re giving away 10 passes, one of which I hope to win!  With their help, I’ll breeze into Las Vegas ready to suck up all the knowledge I can.  My trusty notebook will be in hand, several working pens in my backpack, and a carefully planned schedule on my phone. I’ll sing the praises of IZEA and evangelize as much as I can while exploring the expo hall floor.  My time will be jam packed with sessions and learning everything I can to make blogs successful.  I’ll, of course, learn all I can about the newest tools of the trade that can assist me as a blogger, but also my readers and peers in the affiliate marketing industry.  There’s so much overlap, and I’d love to pass on pertinent knowledge.

Blogs will be written about the conference!  Business connections will be made.  Tools will be acquired.  Plugins will be downloaded.  Things will be learned that will help me become a famous blogger!  And Ted Murphy-esq tongue out pictures will be taken!
