Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lash Mascara Review

More dreams of full, flirty lashes danced in my head when I was given a significant discount on 3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia Adora.  Like many women, I’ve been invited to more Younique Facebook parties than I can count (don’t get me started…) and I can’t say I wasn’t at least curious, but the price tag and pushy sales tactics of the product turned me off.  So, let’s see how well this product does, shall we?
I was supplied with this product complimentary for review. Opinions are 100% mine.

3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia AdoraProduct Specs

3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia Adora (yes, the same manufacturer of the Premium Eyelash Curler I reviewed) is made with a natural, non-toxic secret formula that is paraben and SLS Free.  The product includes one large tube of the magnifying gel mascara (step 1 & 3 in the process), and a smaller tube of the natural fiber lashes (step 2).  Both are snugly packaged in a convenient carrying box with magnetic closure that has the steps printed on the inside of the lid.  The fibers themselves are made with green tea (how, I don’t know) and are non-irritating. 3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia Adora retails for $19.99 on Amazon.com

Use

3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia AdoraI have to say, I expected a very dramatic outcome.  I almost expected the results to be SO dramatic that it would be overkill to wear out without going somewhere super fancy and wearing a face full of makeup.  I decided to try it out without any other makeup on (as I normally live my life) and I was disappointed that the results were not FABULOUS OMG LOOK AT THOSE FALSIES but were actually more natural and more WOW YOU HAVE NICE LASHES.  Which works better for me anyway.

As you can see, it’s a subtle change.  Now, this is the bare minimum coat of the magnifying gel mascara with just one or two passes of the fiber lashes.  I asked my husband if he could tell the difference between my before photo and how I looked after applying the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara.  He said it was subtle, but he could see that my lashes were thicker and there was definitely a difference.  Of course, when I told him I could amp it up if he took me somewhere nice, he balked and went back out to his man cave, but I digress…

Forgive the sad state of the rest of my face, but actually it goes top show how subtle the effect (without seriously layering the stuff on) is.  I was expecting super dramatic, and I’m sure if I continued the steps like they suggest, I could really amp it up to get super thick, full, long, false looking eyelashes.  But generally speaking that’s not really want I want.  I just want my lashes to have a little bit more impact hiding behind my glasses, and this definitely does the trick.

 Verdict

3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia AdoraI’d say this is a good spend for the $20 price tag.  Especially if you have lighter lashes (mine are already pretty dark) and want something more impactful but not “night on the town” dramatic for daily or casual use, the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Mia Adora is a good choice to keep in your makeup bag.  While I won’t be using it every day, it’ll definitely be coming with me to New York where I’ll be speaking at a conference and know it’ll help in the resulting videos and photos!

Now, if only I could master the rest of a makeup routine…

Hi Trish and thanks for the review! I have seen these mascaras and was curious but, like you, not into the price tag. I did notice the subtle difference in you. Enjoy NY!
