Rubber Ducky Baby Sprinkle
One of my best, closest, oldest friends Jennie recently gave birth to her second child, a boy they named Colin Donovan. I helped her two sisters to plan her first baby shower 5 years ago when she became a mom for the first time with the birth of her daughter Joy, and really enjoyed it. I convinced her to let me throw her a baby “sprinkle” this time around. Something smaller, more like a big picnic in her honor. Ha… I should have known I don’t do anything half-ass! This will be the first in a series about all the various facets of a baby sprinkle that really turned into a full-fledged rubber ducky baby shower!

Why is it that my poor pug Winston has to be like me in so many ways? He could never see well, his ankles give out on him at random times, he was overweight, he snores, and now… he has canine diabetes. Granted, he’s worse off than I am in the eyesight and diabetes departments – at least I can see with glasses and don’t have to take insulin… he’s pretty much totally blind now with his detached retinas and I have to give him an insulin shot once a day. Le sigh…

So I’m left to wondering who I should thank. I guess there’s several peeps out there that inspire me. Here we go, in no particular order.
