It’s taken me a while to get my thoughts together to tell you about the Baby Dumbo Baby Shower I helped throw for one of my best friends, Lorenza. This happened back in January, and for a long time I was really hard on myself that I’d dropped the ball with some things. Now that time has passed and her baby boy is due to be born in 10 days, I’ve collected my thoughts to tell you the good stuff!

A few years ago, on a cruise out of Tampa, I discovered color changing nail polish from Del Sol. As I’d never seen it anywhere else, I assumed that the only company that made UV light activated color changing nail polish was Del Sol. A few months ago, while at a casual oogling trip to my local beauty supply store, I discovered another color changing nail polish by Ruby Wing, so I picked it up. But with 300+ nail polishes, it got filed into a drawer and kinda forgotten about.

I mentioned before we went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago that I’d tell you more about how our DIY Disneyland Bleach Silhouette shirts came out. So I’ll make good and tell you that they came out pretty great, with one exception. In all, I ended up making 7 shirts, 4 of which came out wearable after trials and tests that weren’t meant to be tests. Let me tell you, this was definitely part pinwin and part pinstrosity!

For a 34 year old woman, some would say I’m far too excited to be going to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with two other 34 year old women – and no kids. The three of us are varying levels of Disney fans, and the fact is that none of us have been to Disneyland in years. We have also never been there during the Halloween season with the ride overlays and fall decor. To boot, I’ve never even been to California Adventure. So we’re doing this. IN 2 FREAKIN’ DAYS!
