Online Marketing Glossary: Nanopublishing
Nanopublishing:
- An online publishing model that uses a small-scale, inexpensive operation to reach a targeted audience, especially through blogging. Sometimes communities of shared interest emerge quickly online, such as PaidContent.org and Gawker.com
To be honest, I don’t have a lot of experience dealing with nanopublishing. Although it seems to me that this is just blogging to a super targeted niche audience. Thoughts?
C’mon, someone with more expertise in the area of nanopublishing school us!

Online Marketing Glossary: Niche Sites
Niche Sites:
- A website oriented toward a very specific topic or audience. Niche sites often have high traffic and items can bring higher prices than on general purpose sites because they serve customers looking for unique content.
Every affiliate I’ve talked to will tell you that the key to affiliate marketing is finding a niche. No matter how you pronounce it, the more specific you can get with the products you’re promoting and selling, the higher the conversion rates will be. These are already people out there on the internet looking for something very specific, so they’re predisposed to spend money if they find what they’re looking for.

Who’s on YOUR A-list?
What does it mean to be on the A-List? It’s subjective, I’m sure… A-List can be different depending on the industry, niche, subject, category, you name it. An actor on the A-List would never show up on the A-list of an affiliate marketer.
My A-List is pretty much the same people who appear in my sidebar links – I’ve chosen to give them the link love. Most of which are affiliate marketers like Shawn Collins, Missy Ward, Sam Harrelson, etc. But I’ve also got to give shout outs to some other good blogs out there like those belonging to Linda Sherman, Jim Kukral, and Andy Beal. These are the blogs I learn the most from, and these people are my A-Listers.
So who’s on your A-List? Give them some love & a shout out!
