If you’ve been following my blog for long enough, you’ll have noticed that I love nail art… but I’m no nail tech. I do my best, but I usually have to simplify things. That’s why I LOVE the look of the red & gold ombre nail art tutorial that Julep has shared. It’s got holiday flare but it’s also elegant enough to really be worn year-round with the right outfit and attitude.

You’ll need the following items for this look:
- Makeup sponge
- Red glitter polish (they used Julep Margot)
- Gold metallic polish (they used Julep Neely)
- Top coat
Their tutorial is easy enough.
- Apply one coat of gold nail polish & let it dry completely.
- Dab a makeup sponge with red glitter nail polish.
- Blot the makeup sponge on the tip of your nails for the ombre effect.
- Add a top coat to seal in the polish.
