Win a free pass to Affiliate Classroom Live!

Posted on Jun 23, 2008 in Affiliate Marketing, Contests, Social Media | 2 comments

Affiliate Classroom Live! The kind folks at Affiliate Classroom Live have given me a free ticket for the event August 9th at which I’ll be hosting a round table discussion on digital networking for affiliate managers.  I can give it to whomever I choose, so I’m making it arbitrary and holding a contest.

awardThe ticket is a whopping $300 value and gets you access to the entire morning’s worth of discussions and presentations geared towards affiliate managers.  It’s a great event to attend!  I went last February to their full day session and it was so worth it!  I’m certain this event will be even better with the amount of interaction each participant will be able to get with the speakers.

All you to have to do to enter is email your name and address to Contests@TrishaLyn.com.  The winner will be picked at random from all entries on July 7th!  That’s two weeks from today so shoot those emails off now for your chance to win!

AwardDrumroll please!

Only one kind soul was good enough to enter my contest, the fantastic Mr. Jeremy Botter!

I was lucky enough to meet Jeremy in February at Affiliate Summit.  Very nice guy, and I’ve been following his blog since.  Apparently, he’s been following mine!

You can (and should) go read Jeremy’s post here.

Since Jeremy was good enough to indulge me, I’ve given him his choice of prize and he’s chosen to take the generous James Seligman up on a silver Creative Vado.

So thanks to James and congrats to Jeremy!

Win a Creative Vado! or Trackur subscription!

Homer Simpson D'oh!In a possible fail of the Disqus comment system (say it ain’t so, @DanielHa!) I’ve been informed that the comments on my original blog post about my contest appear to be closed.

So in an effort to wrap this bad boy up, entries are welcome via comment on ANY post. Deadline is still Sunday.

I’m going to stick with my original way of entering – write a post in your blog about why you read my blog. Link baiting? I won’t deny it. I got a good suggestion from Andrew Wee of WhoIsAndrewWee.com to forget the link bait entry model and go with random or a survey. Good idea, but it’ll have to wait for the next contest. I’ve never been one to change the rules mid-game (unless it meant winning at Monopoly).

First prize is still a 6 month subscription to Trackur reputation management service courtesy of Andy Beal. Second prize is a Creative Vado pocket video camera courtesy of James Seligman. Third prize is 6 months of ad space at FreshySEO.com courtesy of Eric J. Odom.

Contest Soon

Posted on May 28, 2008 in Contests |

That’s right, I’m gearing up for my first ever contest here at TrishaLyn.com. I’m not really going to make peopleBig Prize jump through a million hoops with some complicated point structure system to win – but I won’t lie, it will have to benefit me in some way of course.

Prizes are being compiled, details and rules drawn up, and everything should be ready soon. So in the meantime, stay tuned!

Oh, and a Free Toolsday post obviously didn’t happen this week…mostly because yesterday felt like Monday and it slipped my mind. So a really good one will be coming next week to make up for it, I promise!

Want to donate a prize for the contest? E-mail me at Contests@TrishaLyn.com!  For those of you interested in donating, the audience is readers of my blog… so businesses, performance marketers, entrepreneurs, bloggers, etc.
