I was bouncing back and forth as far as PPC is concerned. But over the last year PPC campaigns made me the most money.
I think every affiliate should try it.

It's definitely something I want to try, however I just don't have the time/attention span and capital to do it right now.
How did you get started doing it? Just jump in or did you research a lot?

At first I jumped in (summer of 2005). Just to awake one day with all my CPC
at $10. Then followed a period of despising PPC (especially Google), the
other two Yahoo! and MSN were a little easier to manage.
One of the most useful resource was Jeremy Palmer's book. If you have it,
just go to the section where he discusses PPC. It is my humble opinion but I
think there is no other book like it out there. It can be extremely useful
to any one, not just affiliates. If you are interested in PPC that is.

Also I just noticed Jeremy's “unofficial guide to Google's quality score”- something every one who uses PPC should read.
